Privacy policy

Your information deserves the same care as every conversation. This page explains what data DC Health Connect receives, how it is used and how you can request its deletion.

Effective November 4, 2026.

Who we are

DC Health Intelligence operates DC Health Connect, a communication and management platform for plastic surgery practices. Address: Calle 213 #114-10, Bogotá, Colombia. Telephone and WhatsApp: +57 301 120 0609. The email address support@dchealthconnect.com is being set up; until then, we receive privacy requests through the WhatsApp number above.

When someone contacts a practice, that practice determines the purpose of patient care and makes medical decisions. DC Health Intelligence provides the technology to manage the conversation under its agreements with the practice. For business inquiries sent directly to us, DC Health Intelligence determines how the information is used.

Information we handle

Depending on how you use this site or a practice's connected channels, we may receive your name, phone number, email address, messaging identifiers, messages and files you choose to share, procedure of interest, appointment details and follow-up information. Conversations with a practice may include photographs, audio or health information that a person chooses to provide.

We also handle practice team access and activity data, technical data needed to operate and protect the service, and inquiry source or campaign performance data when the practice enables those features. You do not need to provide clinical information to visit this public site.

How information is used

Information is used to receive and organize inquiries; support replies and follow-up; help coordinate consultations; provide support; show practices the metrics they enable; protect the platform; and meet applicable obligations.

The platform may prepare draft replies, translations, summaries or priority alerts using automation and artificial intelligence configured for the practice. These features support its team; assessment and medical decisions remain with health professionals.

Connected channels and access

If a practice connects WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger or Meta advertising tools, DC Health Connect receives the data needed for the features that practice enables. Data from those channels is used to provide the service to the relevant practice. Meta also handles information under its own policies.

People authorized by the practice and staff who need to operate or support the platform may access the data. Messaging, infrastructure and artificial intelligence providers may also be involved where needed to deliver the service. Some processing may occur outside Colombia. We apply access controls and security measures appropriate to the information involved.

Retention and deletion

DC Health Connect is preparing to operate with real patient conversations. Before that begins, each practice and DC Health Intelligence will define the applicable retention periods and operational deletion process for its data. Testing uses synthetic data.

You may request access, correction, updating or deletion of your data, or ask how it has been used, by WhatsApp at +57 301 120 0609. Please identify the practice and channel you used, without sending additional clinical details. We will verify your identity and coordinate requests concerning a practice with that practice. You may also contact the practice directly. If a legal obligation requires us to retain certain information, we will explain the scope of our response.

Updates

We will update this page when the service or its data practices change. The effective date will appear at the top of this policy. For privacy questions, use the WhatsApp number above.
